When you have the opportunity to work on cool projects, cool things tend to happen. This past Tuesday was one of those days as the famous U.S. Navy Blue Angels flew overhead just moments after our nearby work wrapped up for the day.

For over an hour, the Blue Angels swept back-and-forth as they practiced their tightly choreographed routine as part of the Naval Academy Commissioning Week surrounding the USNA graduation ceremonies.

For safety and security reason, our production had been scheduled to end early that afternoon, given our proximity to the show. But as our crews packed up and loaded their trucks below, a thunderous ballet unfolded overhead.

The unexpected entertainment didn’t end there, however, as the U.S. Naval Academy Band struck up their practice routine just around the corner as well.

It’s not every day that you get to witness such awe-inspiring performances, but when you do, you pull out your camera and take a few photos.
