Following a weather event in Washington, D.C., in 2017, St. Aloysius Church’s roof needed to be replaced. In order to match the appearance of the original terne-coated stainless steel roof, stainless steel roof panels were selected. The panels also matched roofing materials on nearby buildings.

Wagner Roofing Co. roll formed and installed 16,000 square feet of Roofinox America Inc.’s Classic 304 double-locked, brush-rolled stainless steel roof panels. The 39-foot, 6-inch-long panels run from ridge-to-eave and were installed with stainless steel expansion cleats over Carlisle Cos. Inc.’s WIP 300 HT self-adhered membrane. Custom box gutters were fabricated from the same Roofinox Classic material and installed with 150 of Lifetime Tool and Building Products LLC’s Squarelock LT200 snow guards. The 16,000-square-foot project was completed in February 2018.
