Deterioration of the church’s ornate belfry and it’s wooden framing called for a high-profile replacement of the structure atop the 60-foot stone bell tower. After “prayerful consideration,” Wagner Roofing was chosen by church leadership to complete the job. Requiring a cost-effective solution that also met the church’s historical preservation requirements, Wagner fabricated a precise replica of the belfry with a fiberglass resin which had been molded from the original belfry pieces. The 30-piece replica was then assembled at the job site before being craned up and installed atop the bell tower in front of the gathered congregation and surrounding community.
