Batten Seam Copper Roof Replacement

The Carnegie Institution for Science Administration Building sits prominently at the corner of P and 16th Streets in Northwest Washington, D.C. Wagner replaced the batten seam copper mansard roof and built-in gutter along with the main rotunda skylight and surrounding copper flashings. Extensive limestone masonry repairs and a 30-year flat roof restoration were also performed on the Beaux-Arts style building, built in 1910.
