Friends and colleagues-

Wagner Roofing reaches its 100th anniversary nodding to the past, but with an eye to the future. I’m thrilled that my family’s business has achieved this milestone and become one of Washington’s roofing and restoration contractors of choice and a nationally-respected leader in the industry. And I’m grateful to all of the customers and partners who have supported us over the past century.

As we envision what Wagner Roofing will look like a decade or a quarter-century from now, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dean Jagusch as Wagner Roofing’s new president. In the time that he’s been with Wagner Roofing, he’s demonstrated a keen sense of the company’s distinction in both the roofing industry and in the local community, and the responsibility of building on that foundation. Moreover, he shares my grandfather’s Otto Wagner’s commitment to producing work of the highest standard and cultivating the next generation of craftsmen in the field.

Dean joined us with a unique mix of skills necessary to keep us ahead of the curve – possessing a deep technical knowledge of our craft as well proficiency in project management and an intuition for leading and developing teams. He honed his skills in key positions with a national roofing consolidation and one of their local operating units, and holds degrees from Unitec Institute of Technology in Auckland, New Zealand, and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

As for me, I will continue to be involved with the company’s customers and projects, while completing a book about our company’s first 100 years in the roofing industry.  Entering our second century, I’m excited to see the ways we’ll build on our legacy.
