We went to the DC Preservation League’s Bricks & Mortar Ball at the historic Manhattan Laundry building, which we got to see before its rehabilitation for future office or retail use. We snapped Winmar Construction’s Catherine O’Donnell and Jack Mutty with Georgetown U’s Vanessa Schwartz.

Guests dressed in creative black tie and enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Here, DC Preservation League exec director Rebecca Miller is with Bell Architects’ T. David Bell and Makin’ Whoopie bakery’s Kimberly Robinson.

The ball supported Washington’s only citywide nonprofit dedicated to the preservation and protection of DC’s historic and built environment. Here, Wagner Roofing’s Emily Jagusch and Sheila Wagner with Thompson Creek Windows’ Katie Sushko.
